How lessons work
Lessons are planned, but they are not fixed to one format. Sometimes I teach from interactive PowerPoints I have made for the student’s course or target skill. Sometimes we work straight from the student’s own writing or an exam question.The aim is to make the next step clear. I show the student what is holding the answer back, then we improve it during the lesson. When I use PowerPoints, I annotate them as we go and send the edited version afterwards, so the student has a personalised revision resource.

Prices and booking
Lessons are £35 per hour for all levels.All lessons take place online through Microsoft Teams and usually last one hour. Payment is made in advance or on the day of the lesson.Students who book lessons receive full access to Astor Study resources at no extra cost. These can be used alongside lessons for revision, practice and independent study.
